The 43rd Marathon Franja BTC City is successfully behind us!
This year, for the first time in five years, the marathon started again with the time trial Ljubljana – Domžale – Ljubljana by Union Radler Isotonic 0.0. We also got new national champions in the time trial among amateur cyclists.
On Saturday, cyclists of all generations got a chance to ride one of the courses: Barjanka Hervis, Medex family and school marathon and Vzajemko trial for kids. Members of the Slovenian Stroke Support Society also joined us at the family marathon. Štrekelj family was the largest family again this year, and the group from Janko Kersnik Brdo primary school won the award for the most numerous school.
Maruša Klemenc and Federico Pozzetto celebrated at Marathon Franja BTC City on Sunday. Lucija Miklavec and Miha Hain were the fastest at the Triglav Little Marathon Franja .
Over three days more than 6,300 participants took part in the event. We hope to see you again next year, when the marathon will be held between June 6 and 8.
