The processing of personal data conducted by the personal data controller of the Kolesarsko društvo ROG, located at Ulica gledališča BTC 10, 1000 Ljubljana (hereinafter referred to as the controller), adheres to the applicable national and European legislation concerning personal data protection. 

 This policy is applicable to users of our websites, recipients of newsletters, marathon participants, and purchasers of our products. 

 By subscribing to the newsletter or registering for a marathon, you acknowledge and consent to the controller collecting and processing the provided personal data. 

 Users bear sole responsibility for the accuracy of personal data and contact information provided. 

 The transmitted personal data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the relevant Personal Data Protection Act. 

Legal basis 

The controller processes your personal data only if it has a legal or other legal basis for doing so. We collect and process personal data on the basis of consent, contract, legitimate interest or applicable law. 

Purpose and use of data 

We collect personal data in accordance with the purpose for which you provided it to us and use it exclusively for the purpose for which you provided us with the data. The provided personal data will not be used for any other purpose. 

You voluntarily provide us with personal data that we process on the legal bases presented above. If you decide that you do not wish to provide us with personal data, we would like to point out that there is a possibility that we will not be able to provide certain services to you. 

Data collection and processing 

We collect your personal data only if absolutely necessary. You can also visit the website www.franja.org without giving any personal information. 

By subscribing to the newsletter, you agree that we collect personal data about you that you provided us when registering. The personal data we collect is name, surname and e-mail address, and in some cases it can only be an e-mail address. When registering for a marathon, we collect name, surname, gender, year of birth, address, e-mail address, telephone, payment information and the club you come from, while collecting a tax number, name of the responsible person, telephone, e-mail address and name of the team. When ordering our products, we collect the data we need to execute the order. 

Personal information (name, surname, year of birth) of an individual participant is also published at the end of the event on our website on the results and overview page of applications and on the website of the timingljubljana.si that performs the timekeeping. This information can also be displayed if the cyclist fills out the form on the commemorative diploma in pdf format. 

By using cookies, you agree to their use for the purpose of analyzing the user’s path on the website: where the user came from to the website (source of traffic), to monitor the stay on the website, which websites he visited, what content he downloaded or viewed, and to monitor and personalize advertising. 

Apart from the aforementioned data, the controller will be able to collect data on the address of the website on which the consent was given, as well as the IP address of the individual when giving consent and the time of consent, etc. For the purpose of monitoring cancellations and processing restrictions, we will collect the date of cancellation or restriction of processing, as well as e-mails informing us about the cancellation, change of data, etc. 

Data storage 

We keep the personal data you provided to us when subscribing to the newsletter until we receive an unsubscribe request, which automatically means withdrawal of consent. After receiving the unsubscribe request, we will no longer use the collected personal data to send e-news or invitations to events. After unsubscribing or withdrawing consent or after the expiration of the contractual relationship, the data may remain stored in the controller’s collection for another five years. 

You can revoke your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing before withdrawal. 

The data obtained on the basis of consent is stored until revocation. All other personal data within the scope of contractual cooperation is stored in accordance with the current legislation and within the limitation periods. 

Transfer of personal data 

Personal data will not be forwarded to third parties, except for selected contractual partners, which are also bound by the General Data Protection Regulation and will not be publicly disclosed, except in the case of Timing Ljubljana, which carries out timekeeping on the marathon and in cases of explicit consent or contract. 

Your rights 

In accordance with the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data and applicable legislation, you have the right to withdraw your consent, the right to access data concerning you, the right to correct inaccurate data, the right to restrict processing, the right to be forgotten or delete all data, the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority and the right to data portability. 

You have the right, at your own request and free of charge, to receive information about which personal data we have stored about you. Furthermore, you have the right to request correction, erasure or prohibition of the use of incorrect data. Under certain circumstances, the deletion of data may be contrary to legal regulations, especially if the data are intended for accounting purposes. 

You can exercise any right in writing at any time. Please provide your name, surname and e-mail address. The request can be sent by post to the address of the operator: Kolesarsko društvo Rog, Ulica gledališča BTC 10, 1000 Ljubljana or to the e-mail address info@franja.org. 

Report the complaint to the supervisory authority to the valid contact of the Information Commissioner. You can also send the withdrawal of consent to the contact from which you received our message or by clicking on the offered link. 

We are obliged to respond to your request to exercise your rights in relation to the aforementioned personal data without undue delay and at the latest within one month of receiving the request. 

For the purposes of reliable identification in the event of exercising rights in connection with personal data, we may request additional information from you, and we can only refuse to take action if we prove that we cannot reliably identify you. 

Final provisions 

If certain areas are not regulated by these Terms of Personal Data Processing, the applicable law shall apply instead. 

This Privacy Statement is subject to modification or supplementation at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use the provider’s website after such changes or amendments, individuals acknowledge that they are aware of and agree to the revised terms.
