The start of the challenge is in BTC City Ljubljana, on Ameriška avenija, under the start arch. The route continues to Šmartinska cesta, where we turn right at the traffic lights and ride all the way to the Ljubljana ring road. Before the traffic lights, we turn right onto the Pot spominov in tovarištva (Path of Remembrance and Comradeship), which leads us to the foothills of Golovec. After the climb to Golovec, we follow the navigation to the village of Orle (first refreshment point) and continue towards the summit of Molnik. Before reaching the top, we keep right towards the village of Pleše and continue on to the village of Repče.

A descent follows, then a climb to Brezje and further along a forest road towards Lipoglav, where the second refreshment point is located at Jakopc Inn.

From there, we continue towards Pance, and just before the end of the forest, we leave the asphalt road and turn onto a forest trail leading to the village of Dobje. We ride along a cart track past a pond and cross the highway near the Logo petrol station. Continuing through Jerova vas, we follow a cart track to the Grosuplje barracks and climb to the ridge of the hill, following it to the Višnja Gora – Grosuplje asphalt road. We turn right and after approximately 400 metres of descent make a sharp left turn off the asphalt onto a cart track passing Polharski dom. We ride through Gatina and, after climbing to Prevale, descend to the church in Žalna.

We continue on asphalt for about 200 metres before turning beneath the railway underpass. Following a cart track, we reach Žalna railway station and continue on asphalt towards Velika Loka. About halfway there, we turn right onto a gravel road towards Luče. After leaving the forest, we turn right off the gravel road onto a cart track and cross the valley, passing an isolated house before reaching the hamlet of Na Šoli, where we cross the Grosuplje – Krka asphalt road.

This is followed by more than 5 kilometres of riding on a forest road before crossing the Grosuplje – Krka road again and climbing along a gravel road through the village of Velike Vrhe to the Church of the Holy Spirit (Sv. Duh), where the third refreshment point is located.

A descent follows past Hotel Polževo to the village of Zavrtače. We then descend along a gravel road towards Ivančna Gorica for approximately 400 metres and, at the edge of the forest, turn left onto a forest track. After 1 kilometre, a steep descent leads us to a gravel road that takes us to Zgornja Draga.

We turn left onto the Ivančna Gorica – Višnja Gora asphalt road. After less than a kilometre, we enter the underpass beneath the motorway and climb on asphalt to the village of Mala Dobrava. In the middle of the village, we turn right and shortly afterwards leave the asphalt road, turning left onto a forest road leading to the Stična – Sela gravel road. We follow this road through Sela. After just over one kilometre of asphalt riding, we turn right onto a cart track that leads to the village of Leskovec.

We continue towards Mali Vrh and, after about one kilometre, turn right towards Obolno, where a refreshment point is located at Berčon Tourist Farm. We then continue along the ridge towards Litija.

The route continues to the village of Osredek. Two hundred metres after leaving the village, we leave the gravel road and turn left onto a cart track. Passing individual farms, we descend to the village of Volčja Jama and, in Štangarske Poljane, turn right onto the main road towards Šmartno. At the beginning of the village of Zavrstnik, near the fire station, we turn left towards Širmanski hrib (refreshment point at ARH Farm), and then continue towards Štanga, Tuji Grm and Janče.

After a short descent on asphalt, we turn right onto a cart track leading towards Vnajnarje. After several short climbs and descents, the route joins the Borovničeva Trail, which takes us to Domačija pri Lazarju (the final refreshment point).

From there, a descent follows to Podgrad. We continue towards Zalog and, at the roundabout before the railway underpass, turn right towards Zajčja Dobrava and Novo Polje. We then rejoin the PST trail, which leads us back to BTC City, past the Radisson Blu Hotel and Citypark, and back to Ameriška Avenue, where the challenge both begins and ends.
