ROUTE DESCRIPTION
The timeline and the route of Triglav Little Marathon Franja BTC City is designed to follow the route of the original Marathon Franja.
They both start in BTC City Ljubljana; the route is identical for the first 7 km, up to Dolgi most, where the route of Little Franja continues through Kozarje, Dobrova, Horjul, Vrzdenec to Lučine and Gorenja vas where it again meets the original Franja route.
From there, it continues along the original route of Franja to the finish in BTC City Ljubljana.
DANGEROUS SECTIONS
Dangerous entrance to Škofja Loka with a sharp left turn and then right turn (at 61st km).
SPECIAL WARNING
IN ADDITION, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION WHILE RIDING THROUGH LJUBLJANA, WHERE A LARGE crowd of cyclists is expected.
IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURES
For the entire duration of the marathon, the following roads will be closed to traffic:
- The road between Vrzdenc and Gorenja vas (from the 27th to the 45 km) from 10.45 to 13.00.
- The road between the settlement of Gameljne and BTC City, the finish line (from the 85th to the 97th km) from 12.00 to 17.00.
Despite these closures, we must remain mindful that, for our safety, we can still do the most ourselves, through careful consideration. Regardless of the mobile and complete road closures, we may encounter some thoughtless and inattentive drivers
